Meet Zach

My fiancée, Maya, and I feel so fortunate to call Dupont Circle home. We’ve lived here together for the last year, and I have lived in Dupont Circle since 2021.
Dupont Circle is a vibrant, living neighborhood. With quick access to Rock Creek Park, a booming farmer’s market, and easy access to the red line, there is so much here to do and great access to other neighborhoods in the District.
When I first moved to DC, I quickly fell in love with its diverse cuisine, commitment to neighbors, and lively pickup basketball scene.
I also began volunteering with Miriam’s Kitchen in 2022, a wonderful and important organization committed to ending chronic and veteran homelessness in D.C.
Miriam’s Kitchen helped me learn more about the housing challenges here. It empowered me to volunteer directly with our unhoused neighbors, attend an ANC meeting in support of the Aston bridge housing project, and participate in the city’s annual Point-in-Time Count.
These experiences showed me how I can give back to the city I quickly came to call home, a city I hope to call home forever.

Professionally, I’ve spent my career in campaign organizing, youth-focused research, and software development for the House of Representatives.
In my free time, catch me on the pickup basketball court, running at sunrise, or with my wonderful DC Jewish community, DC Minyan.
